Alex joins the CPH2 family
Continuing with our growth plans, CPH2 has welcomed Alex Shields as the new Process Design Manager. Alex joined us at the start of 2021 and is responsible for the process safety of our Membrane-Free Electrolysersâ„¢.Â
Safety will be a priority for Alex. His primary responsibility will be to ensure that we continue to design and build our electrolysers to the highest safety standards. Alongside this, Alex will also be responsible for the selection of process equipment, drawings, and calculations. Continuing to source the most readily available, reusable, and recyclable components is an essential part of what makes our electrolysers the most sustainable technology on the market.
Alex brings a wealth of experience with him, having spent 23 years developing and installing new technology industrial products. Formally the Design Manager for 11 years at ITM Power, he led their design department of process, electrical, and mechanical engineers to build electrolysers and hydrogen plants.
Alex has also worked as a Lead Process Engineer, Technology Manager, and Special Projects Project Manager for several other technology and engineering companies, including BASF and Carbolite.
Welcome to the team Alex.
